Leaving from Fort-de-France, we take the highway to the south of the island, our first stop being the Trois- Rivieres rum distillery in the town of Sainte-Luce. You’ll get to enjoy a free tasting and perhaps buy some bottles and can visit some souvenir shops found on the spot.
Our next stop will be a viewpoint high on a hill from where you’ll get to see the whole south of the island and take some amazing pictures. Then we’ll continue to the Salines beach, stretching for more than one kilometer, bordered by coconut trees and beach restaurants.
You’ll have about three to four hours of beach time.On the way back to the capital we’ll stop at the village of Sainte-Anne for some pictures, especially to see the quaint little Notre-Dame church, one of the oldest in Martinique.
