- Stop at the Balata church, a miniature replica of the Sacre Coeur basilica in Paris and enjoy the view to the bay of Fort-de-France

– Tour the Balata garden, guided by Meri and learn about the different plants and flowers while enjoying the views and nature. The highlight of the garden is a walk on suspended bridges in the mahogany trees, from where you’ll have spectacular views.

– Drive through the rainforest, with some picture stops, to arrive in Saint-Pierre, Martinique’s old capital completely destroyed in the eruption of 1902. Visit the Mémorial 1902 museum and the ruins of the old theater.

– Drive back to Fort-de-France through the Caribbean coast passing quaint fishing villages like Carbet and Bellefontaine.
